Personal Data Collection and Usage Agreement (Required)

Purpose

In relation to the MindDiary service (hereinafter referred to as "Service"), I have read and understood the consent form and agree to the collection and use of my personal data by the individual developer Ku TaeHun.

Purpose of Data Collection and Use

  1. The purpose of collecting and using personal data is to fulfill service agreements and manage user accounts, including:
    • Accessing diary and goal data for user identification and account management
    • Verifying user identity for membership services and preventing unauthorized use
    • Providing service (including registration, changes, and termination), customer support, and user assistance
    • Analyzing anonymized data for statistical purposes and service quality improvement
  2. For non-registered users, all personal data is stored locally on the device and will be permanently deleted if the app is uninstalled.

Collected Personal Data

  1. Google or Apple social login account ID
  2. Nickname
  3. User's region (For Language and Google Ads)

Data Retention and Usage Period

  1. In principle, personal data will be destroyed immediately after the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled (within 30 days of account deactivation or service termination). However, the following information may be retained:
    • To comply with international data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
    • To ensure user identification and account recovery
    • To improve service quality using anonymized data
  2. For non-registered users, all data is stored only on the device, and deleting the app will result in permanent data deletion.

Right to Refuse and Consequences of Non-Consent

  1. You have the right to refuse the collection and use of personal data. However, if you do not consent, you will not be able to use the MindDiary service.
  2. General matters related to personal data processing in accordance with legal requirements are governed by the 'Privacy Policy' of the service.
